An alliance between medical scientists has given doctors the ability to view the effects of treatment on a patient's specific heart. Using powerful CT scanners from Siemens, and analysis from HeartFlow, doctors can now physically have and touch a 3D Model of the individual heart and test the effect of different treatments on blood flow, letting them select the best option and prevent unnecessary surgery.
