The 'sunburst beetle' comes equipped with two things that humans pay good money for: bifocal vision, and an air tank for diving! It has the most unusual eyes in the animal kingdom, with two retinas for each of its 12 eyes (plus another four on top of its head). It also carries a bubble of air as it dives, helping it to survive under water.
