Most of you like how your feline friends play with you as if you’re chicken nuggets. However, you might be resistant to adopting a cat because of the allergic reaction they cause. Getting a hypoallergenic cat is a better solution over immunotherapy. These breeds are those that produce less Fel D1 protein, which is the responsible of the allergic reactions and, surprisingly, has nothing to do with the cat hair, as the protein is mainly present in urine and saliva. Examples of hypoallergenic breeds are Siberian, Bengali, Devon Rex, Cornish Rex... But not the hairless Sphynx cat!
