A miracle worker, working out of Glasgow University's engineering school, he's helped develop a state-of-the-art artificial tongue that can detect even the most subtle differences between whiskies; a massive coup in the fight against counterfeit alcohol. Finally, we foresee a future in which our real tongues never again encounter a 12-year old whisky pretending they're 18.
