In one of the more impressive heists in recent history, a huge gold coin disappeared from the Bode Museum in Berlin. The coin holds a Guinness World Record for purity of gold and weighs over 100kg. Minted in Canada in 2007, the coin is also called the 'big maple leaf'. Unfortunately, the stunning coin will likely be lost for good when the thieves inevitably melt it down!
