Dealing with disability can be hard, but our bodies adapt in surprising ways. Studies have found that blind people can 'see' using sound waves reflecting off objects to sense their whereabouts. If that sounds magical wait until you hear this – the part of the brain that uses echolocation is not the aural (hearing) part. It is the visual part, the area usually used by the eyes. Gives, 'See you later' a whole new meaning!
