The Double Casorzo tree is a unique tree because not only is it a single tree, but two trees. It is a belief of the native people of Piemonte, Italy, that a cherry seed was dropped by a bird on top of the mulberry tree on which it stood. The cherry seed then grew through the mulberry’s trunk. We can also refer to this strange, rather unique tree as the Grana Double Tree.
