Chupa Chups, the popular Spanish brand of lollipop, has many claims to fame. Its recognisable daisy-shaped logo, for example, was designed by surrealist painter Salvador Dali. Chupa Chups were also the first lollipop to be eaten in space; in 1995, Chupa Chups lollipops accompanied Russian cosmonauts to the Mir space station and were regularly seen being enjoyed during live television broadcasts.
