High above rivers deep in the Madagascan jungle, you will find wildlife traps created using nature's strongest threads. Twice as strong as Kevlar, these strands form 30-foot-square webs which snare dozens of insects and even small birds to satisfy the hunger of the inch-long arachnids who build them. Now scientists are studying the Darwin's bark spider (Caerostris Darwini) to learn more about its strong silk.
