Indian scientist Dipankar Mandal and his team have discovered a novel way to create energy, while reducing pollution. Using bio-waste made of fish scales, they successfully generated electricity. They hope that their discovery may lead to advances in medicine. During research, they were able to power 50 LEDs with the bio-waste. Gives a new meaning to a 'light' fish supper!
