Hugh Williams a very lucky name

On 5th December 1664, a vessel sunk in the Strait of Menay and all 82 passengers but a man called Hugh Williams died. On 5th December 1785 another ship sunk, 60 drawn people and one only survivor: Hugh Williams. On 5th August 1860 a new sinking caused 25 deaths but and guess who saved his life...
