Maldives's Prime Minister Mohamed Nasheed held an underwater cabinet meeting

Instead of suits and ties, government ministers in the Maldives wore goggles and wet suits as they sat at desks six meters under the sea. This eye-catching event was designed to draw the world's attention to the threat of climate change. Prime Minister Mohamed Nasheed is already a trained scuba diver, but several members of his cabinet needed lessons before attending the underwater meeting.
