A metal detectorist got more than he bargained for when his device let of a ping near a bush in Ballarat, Victoria. The anonymous detectorist originally thought he had uncovered an old car bonnet, before revealing the gold nugget that weighs nearly twice the weight of an average newborn. As Charlie Chaplin would say; 'There's gold in them thar hills'.
