At 9,500+ years old the Old Tjikko tree has definitely seen more than changing seasons although it shows no signs of wears and tears. The tree has survived thousands of years and still looks incredibly refreshed because it regenerates its branches, roots, and trucks when they die, a process known as layering. It is a Norway Spruce tree located on the Fulufjallet Mountain in Sweden.
