Seeing red? You really could be if you visit the protected area of Panjin Red Beach, North-East China. Each year, the area attracts tourists by the truck-loads. Not to see the 400 species of wildlife, but to see the perfect saline conditions that cause seepweed to flourish. The result is 51 miles of beautiful marshland beach that turns a bright crimson red, just in time for autumn.
