Dugongs are truly majestic sea mammals... who fart to control buoyancy. It's a smart way to take benefit of flatulence. Funny bit came when Damask Perfumery was once commissioned to produce a fragrance that replicated the smell of dugongs farts, in the name of science - or rather, to satisfy the curiosity of visitors to Sydney's Sea Life Aquarium. It seems they were so focused on whether they could, they never stopped to wonder if they should. And they made it!
