The sheep soldier Derby XXX became the sheep with the world's highest rank, first time in the history of the military mascots. He was a member of the British Army and was promoted to "Lance Corporal" thanks to his excellent performance and exemplar behaviour, fact reflected in the Guinness Book of Records. He could enjoy a wage covering his veterinary expenses and an annual leave during Christmas (mating season).
