French oceanographer Jacques Cousteau discovered almost 1500 sealed wine amphorae that were more than two millennia old. They were found within a Greek wreck that used to be a trading ship. After retrieving some of them, Cousteau and his crew celebrated on the deck and tasted the wine. How was it? 'Very sweet', Cousteau reported, and with a hint of oak in it.
