The world will never be the same again after geologists discovered bacteria that uses natural gold and turns them into....wait for it...nuggets. These scientists found the bacteria on a piece of land in regional Queensland. According to the team this means firms will be future be able to convert tailings dams into an advantage by recovering leftover gold. Or perhaps people can get rich from unlocking the gold inside their old smartphones.
