A well-aged, juicy steak can often be expensive but rarely costs thousands of dollars. A Blonde d'Aquitaine steak from Parisian butcher, Alexandre Polmard, is priced at around $3,200; making it the most expensive steak in the world. The meat, which comes from prized free-range French cattle, is aged for 15 years using a special technique that ‘hibernates’ the cuts of beef using cold air.
