Laying two miles of pipeline under the streets for the purpose of transporting beer may seem a little crazy, but that is exactly what the Belgian manufacturer Brugse Zot did. Enough beer to fill about 12,000 bottles an hour runs beneath the feet of the residents to be bottled at an out of town plant before making its way right back into the Bruges bars as well as all over the world. Some neighbours were already wondering if they couldn't just get the beer on tap at home!
