The Swiss love their cats, so it is no surprise that they have solved the problem of how cats who live above the ground-floor can come and go while their owners are out, namely: cat-ladders. Yes, really... The outside of many apartment buildings in Switzerland are criss-crossed by these narrow catwalks (get it?) which feline residents can use when they want to go outside or come back home.
