Cassowary
Paul IJsendoorn

Though most attacks are in self defence, there's much to beware when dealing with cassowaries; even though they're flightless these birds know how to handle themselves. People have reported being charged, jumped on, pushed, pecked and headbutted, but most dangerous of all are the bird's amazing talons, with the middle claw being 12cm long: so when dealing with a cassowary, make sure you take care!
