Cheese found in Egyptian tomb and infected with deadly bacteria

The world’s oldest cheese has been discovered near Cairo, dated 3,200 years ago. Made from sheep’s and goat’s milk, experts say it would have been extremely sour to eat. It was also infested with a bacteria that causes brucellosis, a deadly disease commonly caught when eating unpasteurised dairy food. It’s safe to say this is one cheese that is well past its due by date.
