The process that drains leaves of their colour as they dry in sunlight can create striking chlorophyll photographs. Lay a leaf on a sturdy board, place a negative over the leaf, cover the leaf with a sheet of glass and secure the glass to the board. Put the result in the sun and wait. Patience is essential: it may take several attempts and many weeks but a successful photograph is sure to be a real talking-point.
