Adult crocodiles are dangerous and ferocious creatures. But as babies they are vulnerable to predators. Mother crocodiles are very caring of their offspring despite their fearsome reputation. They bury their eggs and protect them for three months as the baby crocodiles develop inside their eggs. When ready, the hatchlings emerge and chirp for their mother. So she scoops them up in her terrifying jaws and carry them in her mouth for some months.
