As if snakes didn't already have enough methods of killing, one genus has evolved to hunt by leaping from treetops and gliding up to 100m to surprise their prey. Snakes of the Chrysopelea family can glide better than flying squirrels by flattening their bodies and laterally undulating in mid air. Bad news for the rodents, frogs, lizards, bats and birds that that they prey upon.
