Most people have probably never heard of a fog collector, a simple way of providing water in areas prone to drought. It's thought to date back thousands of years and works through the mechanism of attaching a 'net' between two poles to catch the water droplets in clouds of fog, which then condense and can be easily collected; an idea too good to be "mist"!
