The Fryscrapper's concave shape focuses the sunlight

A £200 million skyscraper in London nicknamed the Walkie Talkie by locals because of its distinctive curved profile soon was known as Walkie Scorchie and as Fryscrapper after that shape focused sunlight. This effect even started to melt small spots in the parked cars, and was enough to fry eggs in the pathway. That's why eventually the building had to be fitted with a sunshade to limit the damaging glare.
