You may feel under pressure when asked to dance, but spare a thought for the male peacock spider. As part of this colourful species' mating ritual, the male "dances" by vibrating his colourful abdomen and waving his legs. If successful, the female will forgive his life, if not, she'll attack and eat him; at least the worst that will happen to you is just someone making fun.
