The aptly-named barrel jellyfish is the largest jellyfish found in the seas around Great Britain, being as much as 2 metres long, more than an average human! These ocean giants keep a low profile so don't be afraid to take a dip. Even more, if you are lucky enough to encounter one, the thrill of swimming with jellyfish as big as yourself will be one you'll never forget.
