If you ever dreamed of commanding your own Rolls Royce at sea, this is not your chance. After the development of unmanned drones in the skies and the imminent arrival of driverless vehicles on land, it was inevitable sea transport would see the same advances. That is why it is no surprise the Yara Birkeland, the world's first fully electric, zero-emission freighter in which Rolls Royce is heavily investing, will have no crew on board as it transports fertiliser along Norwegian shore.
