A new type of organic robot could remove pollution from the oceans or let doctors attack cancer cells.
These microscopic "xenobots", developed by Universities of Vernon and Tufts in USA, are formed from frog stem cells and would be programmed to carry out simple tasks, such as delivering medication to a specific cell, while millions could be released to clean seawater by harvesting microplastics.
