Thorny Devil Lizard originated in the Australian arid desert. Its mouth is so specifically designed to eat ants that this lizard can't drink. Using a sophisticated irrigation process not unlike a well-developed home gardening watering system, the lizard maneuvers water from moisty sand through tiny grooves in its thorny skin, from every inch of it (not only from feet) to mouth, and then it actually swallows the water. This tiny devil sure knows how to imbibe its drinks after a delicious snack of ants!
