Everybody is getting used to the idea of driverless cars, but camel racing in Jordan’s Wadi Rum valley has taken things even further. The use of child jockeys was banned in 2007. Since then, inventive Bedouin owners have operated their racing camels via remote control. We can report that robot jockeys are enthusiastically cheered as well!
