Black ties and elegant dresses... under the jackets!

Michelin-starred chef Sat Bains' food is usually served in the refined surroundings of his Nottingham restaurant, but April 2018 saw it dished up in most unusual surroundings: 7050m up Mt Everest. Temperature, -25°C. The meal, a record-breaking attempt to have the world's highest-altitude dinner party, was miso soup and lamb tagine. Dress code was strictly black tie and cocktail dresses, though thermal jackets were also allowed, luckily.
