The mangrove killifish (kryptolebias marmoratus) lives a very interesting life, well, by fish standards... For one thing this “fish” can live on land for months and survives by reversing its gills and breathing through its skin. Even odder though is its ability to jump or flip with great accuracy using its tail like a pogo-stick! That’s what I call a finmast, I mean, gymnast! Actually, thorough researchers have trained some individuals and verified that they jump more and better after a training period, go figure!
