There’s something very unusual about the Hyalinobatrachium yaku, quite apart from its impressive name. This tiny, green frog has in its downside transparent skin that displays its beating heart, its stomach and other organs. This new type of glassfrog was recently discovered deep in in the Amazon rain forest. Many glassfrogs have transparent skin over their stomach, but this is the first to have transparent skin also over its heart. Unfortunately you can't completely see through the whole frog.
