Studies have shown that pigeons can identify between healthy and cancerous tissue by looking at X-rays. Pigeons were presented with some breast tissue images. The birds then had the choice between a blue or yellow button to press to say whether it was cancerous or healthy. They could determine cancerous images with up to 99% accuracy. Maybe patients are also 99% shocked when they see who examined their X-rays!!
