In 1495 Leonardo da Vinci began his mural "The Last Supper" in the dining room of the monastery Santa Maria in Milan, illustrating the moment Jesus revealed to His disciples that one of them would betray Him. For that he used persons as models. Some years later, Da Vinci had still not found an evil-looking model for Judas Iscariot until finally got the perfect convict, who happened to be the same man who had represented Jesus!
