More than a century ago, shipwrecked sailors made two makeshift shelters with whatever they could find on the Australian coast where they had been cast ashore. Life on that stretch of New South Wales coast was so pleasant that the sailors decided to stay and soon they were joined by others keen to build a shack until their isolated settlement became known as Tin City.
