The Waiotapu Thermal Park has an amazing array of colours. There are many bodies of water whose colour resembles jade. You will also find ground and banks dripping with citrus, russet and sulphurous rainbow hues. This magnificent sight is a sprinkling of all the colours you can ever imagine. The park has a characteristic smell of rotten eggs that comes from gas released from underneath. But it is certainly worth the visit.
