As its name suggests, the Kamchatka Ice Cave is a natural cavity that has been formed by a warm river flowing through a volcano in the remote Russian Kamchatka Peninsula. The result is a gleaming tube of ice with dazzling, coloured highlights. It’s truly awesome, and well worth the journey to this far corner of the frozen north.
