Open wide! Baby fish inside! Mouth-brooding fish incubate their eggs in a fascinating way: The female gathers her eggs in her mouth and they stay there in safety until they have hatched and the offspring has grown a little in size. In fact, the tiny fry come and go until they are large enough to survive independently.
Mouth brooders, isn't it a good idea?
